A diagnosis of any type of cancer can be extremely traumatic, and few people come prepared for how diagnosis and treatment will make them feel. The physical and psychological challenges that may follow chemotherapy, radiotherapy and radical surgery can leave patients and their carers feeling isolated.

The Oesophageal and Gastric Cancer Patient Support Group exists to offer support to patients with oesophageal or gastrointestinal cancer and their families or carers.
