The Transplant Sport Football Tournament is taking place at Solihull Moors Football Club on Sunday 29 March, the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team are going to be fielding two teams for the tournament, thanks to generous sponsorship from Trust Group UK.
Trust Group UK is a group of six West Midlands car dealerships that supply and maintain new and used Volkswagen and Skoda vehicles. Claire Walker, Group Marketing Manager, said: “Having read about the incredible achievements of the team members and their inspirational stories along with the value of organ donation, we felt that the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team was an extremely worthy charity to support at their football tournament.”
Martin Searle, Team Manager for the Birmingham Adult Transplant Sports Team, said: “Our thanks got to Trust Group UK for their generous support of our team for the football tournament. We are all greatly looking forward to the big day which will be a showcase of the power of sport to change the lives of transplant recipients.”
The tournament is being held at Solihull Moors Football Club and family and friends of those playing, and members of the public, are encouraged to come along and enjoy the day.
