Good Hope Hospital

At Good Hope Hospital, we treat 30,000 children every single year.

We continue to fundraise for our young patients to support them through their treatment at Good Hope Hospital; whether it's for a day or a number of months.

Many children’s lives are impacted by a variety of medical conditions, many of which will be lifelong and life limiting.  We need to make the Children's Wards and Departments child focused and child friendly so that our young patients feel welcomed and comfortable and interested in the activities going on around them rather than scared, bored or disinterested. It is vital we give both the child and their parents/carers as positive an experience as possible.

We now want to help the Outpatients and Physiotherapy Departments at Good Hope Hospital to make those areas more exciting and child-friendly for the tens of thousands of children who come for outpatient treatment, many times a year. We’ll also create bespoke play areas that will transform the way staff assess their young patients’ progress, making it more engaging for the child and staff member.

Over the last few years, Good hope Hospital Charity have spent hundred of thousands to make these areas more child-friendly for our paediatric patients.

See below the different projects we have funded at Good Hope Hospital.
