Solihull Hospital

Each year, Solihull Hospital sees approximately 17,000 children. The department consists of five consultation rooms, a measuring and treatment room, the breast feeding room, the playroom and the waiting area. The department provides treatment for children aged from just a few months to 18 years old for a range of conditions, some of which are life-limiting.

We continue to fundraise for our young patients to support them through their treatment at Solihull Hospital; whether it's for a day or a number of months.

Many children’s lives are impacted by a variety of medical conditions, many of which will be lifelong and life limiting.  We need to make the Children's Wards and Departments child focused and child friendly so that our young patients feel welcomed and comfortable and interested in the activities going on around them rather than scared, bored or disinterested. It is vital we give both the child and their parents/carers as positive an experience as possible.
