Donations to support our NHS Heroes

 

At this challenging time we are delighted to accept donations from companies and organisations to help us to provide for our NHS Superheroes and the patients that they are treating. We have compiled a list of items that we are able to accept, and a list of those items which we cannot accept.

Please note that this list is subject to change at short notice so please continue to check this page for updates.

If you are wishing to make a donation of non-food items (e.g. toiletries, brand new PPE equipment) please email justine.davy@uhb.nhs.uk

If you are wishing to make a donation of fresh food then please contact sian.averill@uhb.nhs.uk

If you are wishing to make a donation of non-perishable, ambient food or drink please contact tom.joyce@uhb.nhs.uk

Items that we can accept

  • Toiletries 
  • Food
  • Bottled soft drinks
  • Bottled water
  • Energy drinks
  • Apple iPads and Galaxy Tabs
  • Thermal cups
  • Brand new PPE equipment

Items that we cannot accept

  • Hand-made or second hand PPE equipment (face masks, goggles, gloves, aprons)
  • Homemade Headbands for nursing staff to wear alongside their masks
  • Knitted items including hearts and rainbow
  • Facemasks that are NOT IIR surgical facemasks
  • Homemade food
