Heartlands Hospital Children's Home from Home

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity is raising funds to provide a home-from-home for children receiving treatment at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital.

Heartlands Hospital treats 76,000 children every year, and some of these children require extended stays in hospital under the care of the experts at the hospital. UHB Charity wants to fund a home from home that will allow parents, guardians and family members to stay, free of charge, in a comfortable environment close to the hospital, close to their child.

Heartlands Hospital treats some of the most ill children across the West Midlands, with many making return visits, or having long stays in hospital for emergency procedures. For our families, this can be an incredibly traumatic experience, and providing a comfortable, quiet space for their exclusive use will help us support them at an incredibly difficult time.

Your donations can help us to make this home from home a reality.
