Monty is around eight years old and was adopted by Jo from a Dog Rescue Centre.
Monty soon settled into his new home with Jo and her family, and enjoys sitting in the front room and watching the world go by. Monty enjoys going to the Doggy Day Centre, and isn't as shy as he used to be, and loves being chased by other dogs.
Monty started visiting Jo's Uncle David in his nursing home in Shropshire around five years ago, David loved seeing Monty, and Monty soon became a Pets as Therapy dog, passing his tests so that he could visit a local residential home. The residents loved Monty and he loved being petted by them, he loved making everyone smile.
Monty loves trips in the car, and has his own cosy kennel in the back, and especially loves family trips to France and visiting dog-friendly pubs where he often gets a treat or two!
