Birmingham New Street branch of The Yorkshire Building Society supports QEHB Charity

The Yorkshire Building Society Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that supports local charities and worthy causes throughout the United Kingdom.

The Foundation has kindly decided to support three local charities within the Birmingham community, all of which will receive a share of £1,000. The amount of money that each charity will receive will be decided by a public vote that can be entered by going to The Yorkshire Building Society’s Birmingham New Street branch at 66 New Street, B2 4DU.

The three charities chosen for this vote are the Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity, and the Wythall Animal Sanctuary. The charity with the most votes will receive £500, the second £300, and the third £200. Voting will close on Saturday 21 May.

Cathryn Worth, Senior Fundraiser at QEHB Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Birmingham New Street branch of The Yorkshire Building Society for their generosity in choosing QEHB Charity as one of its three charities. The Charity prides itself on helping patients and staff at the QE from both Birmingham and further afield.”
