Birmingham Transplant Sport Team win big!
A huge congratulations to every member of the Birmingham Transplant Sport team for competing in the most recent Transplant Sport Games!
Every member of the team has either recieved or donated a life saving organ. By competing in a host of different sports against other transplant recipients at the Games, each and every one are showing that having a transplant does not hold you back from achieving your dreams!
UHB Charity is so proud to support the team. Sophie Westlake, Senior Fundraising Officer, said: "It has been my honour to meet several members of the team. It has been my privilege to listen to their stories, and hear first hand how a transplant has given them a second chance at life."
