Boparan Charitable Trust makes a Christmassy donation

Boparan Charitable Trust have yet again donated an incredible amount to the hospital charity – but this time, in the form of presents!

The Trust, who aim to help children and young people when they need it the most, visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital and Good Hope Hospital to donate over 100 toys to children who will be in hospital over the festive period.

Being in hospital isn’t easy for anyone, especially when it’s over the Christmas period. This is why we want to make sure that patients are thought of whilst they’re in hospital.

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager for Good Hope Hospital Charity, said: “A huge thank you goes to everyone at Boparan who have very kindly donated an incredible amount of toys for the children and young people who will be in hospital this Christmas.

“The hospital charity will be able to make the festive period that little bit easier for children this year by gifting them a donated toy.”

Boparan Charitable Trust have previously donated £15,000 to the Children’s Outpatients Department renovation at Good Hope Hospital which has funded one of the treatment rooms. The department is now complete and is full of toys and games for children to play with whilst they are waiting for their appointments, as well as sensory equipment and a floor projector.
