Cricket tickets support soldiers and their families

cricket Calling all cricket fans! The Birmingham Bears have reached the T20 Quarter Finals and will play the Essex Eagles at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Thursday 13th August. Thanks to Warwickshire County Cricket Club, you can help support injured or ill troops and their families when buying your ticket to the highly-anticipated match. Simply enter the promo ‘FISHER’ at the checkout to send £4 of your purchasing fee straight to Fisher House, a ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families, at no extra cost to you. Fisher House is an 18 bedroom facility on-site of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, and means that loved ones can be close by as soldiers and veterans travel from across the UK to receive treatment and attend appointments at the hospital. Mike Hammond, Chief Executive at QEHB Charity, which runs Fisher House, said: “Just seven tickets will provide enough to fund one night of free accommodation to a family when they need it most, so please do take the time to enter the code when you buy your tickets and help support a local cause, that provides care on a national level.” The match will begin at 6.30pm and tickets cost £18 for adults, whilst children with an accompanying adult go free.
