Fun and games at Harborne networking event
Think you know networking? Think again! This October, the Harborne Business Association (HBA) will challenge all notions of a traditional networking event by hosting their own business evening… with a twist.
The ‘Game Play Social’ will take place at The Butchers Social in Harborne, on Thursday 8th October, and will raise money for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity.
The kind-hearted business association aims to provide a forum for businesses to communicate and work with each other. Damian Alexander, Town Centre Manager at HBA said: “We are really looking forward to the Game Play social event which aims to make networking fun, whilst raising vital funds for a local charity that supports local people.”
Michael Tivey, Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Harborne Business Association for choosing to support the Charity.
“Donations will fund everything from the ‘added extras’ that make a patient’s life more comfortable, like slippers for our elderly patients or a teacher for teenagers with cancer, to cutting-edge research and equipment.
“We would like to thank both the Harborne Business Association and the Butchers Social for their very generous support.”
