High-Flying Investment Business members soar for QEHB Charity

Since having announced in May of this year that the Birmingham branch of Investment Business Quilter Cheviot had chosen QEHB as their charity of the year for 2015/2016, the members of the business have shown that they have no qualms about getting their hands dirty to raise some funds.

On the 6th September ten plucky members moved on from metaphorical elbow-grease by tackling a gruelling 10 kilometre run across an off-road terrain in Warwickshire! This meant abandoning the beautiful simplicity of tarmacked roads for mud runs, forests, and even manoeuvring their way through lakes! Taking it all in their stride, the wolves of the business world became wolves of the great outdoors, having a fantastic time- albeit a muddy one! Claire Whiteman-Haywood, Marketing Assistant at Quilter Cheviot, said: “It was amazing! We all had a blast, got very very muddy but thoroughly enjoyed it.”

It was a brilliant event, raising an amazing £2,500 for QEHB charity, meaning that the company is well on the way to raising their £5,000 target.

Senior Fundraiser at QEHB Charity, Laura Power, said “It has been fantastic working with Quilter Cheviot thus far this year and we want to thank them for their support of QEHB Charity.’
