Jaguar Land Rover and Syncreon join in on Festive Jumper Day!

The team from Jaguar Land Rover and Syncreon in Minworth and Solihull have done their bit for Good Hope Hospital Charity this Christmas. From dressing in their festive jumpers to helping deliver hampers they have raised £120 for the Christmas appeal at the Charity!

As part of their support for the Charity this year, the team combined their Christmas party with Festive Jumper Day and donated £1 each to help raise money to bring festive spirit to the hospital.

Darren Parsons, IMO Senior Quality Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, said: “It has been amazing to get the team involved in supporting Good Hope Hospital Charity.

“It was our pleasure to come in and help out in delivering the hampers, we all really enjoyed going round to the different wards and being able to see what a difference these hampers will make to the staff during the Christmas period. We are all really chuffed with how much we raised by doing Festive Jumper Day!”

They didn’t just have one day of festivities, they also joined the Charity at Good Hope Hospital to deliver festive hampers to the staff and patients who will be working over the Christmas period.

For many, Christmas is a time of relaxation and enjoyment with family and friends at home. However, for some people, this Christmas will be spent in hospital as they are not well enough to go home. This includes babies who have just been born and are being treated on the Special Care Baby Unit, to elderly patients who have been in hospital for a long time.

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital Charity, said: “A huge thank you goes to everyone at Jaguar Land Rover and Syncreon who took part in Festive Jumper Day for the Charity and also the team who came in to help us deliver the Christmas hampers to all of the wards and departments.

“The Charity is dedicated to funding added extras just like this for staff and patients at the hospital so with the help of Jaguar Land Rover and Syncreon we have been able to bring a bit of festive spirit to the hospital.”
