Jeans for Genes Day 2015

Friday 18 September saw staff of Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham ditching their work trousers for the glory of denim in order to raise awareness for Jeans for Genes day and QEHB Charity’s Rare Diseases Appeal.

QEHB Charity held their weekly atrium stand which was well attended throughout the day, and Mr Bear made a fabulous appearance in an extremely fetching pair of jeans.

Over £300 was raised, which will be split equally between the two causes.

Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at QEHB Charity, said: “We want to thank everyone who took part in Jeans for Genes day last week. It was a really great event, and we raised a brilliant amount of money for two incredibly worthy causes.”
