Kind-hearted nurses heal garden

QEHB Charity has supported the East Block Day Unit by recently funding a television and radio for patients and relatives to enjoy. Therefore, QEHB Charity was more than happy to help when Sue Morrice, Senior Sister from the department, approached us with the idea to re-vamp the outdoor garden area. It is now a tranquil, beautiful area with rose bushes and Astroturf grass. Sue is so happy with it that she cannot wait to get the Christmas tree in!

Laura Power, Senior Fundraiser, said: “It is fantastic that Sue and her team are so motivated to create the best possible environment for patients and families and we are only too happy to assist in bringing these ideas to fruition.”

This project was undertaken in the spare time of Sue and her fellow colleagues, and QEHB Charity wants to thank all who took part for their generosity and making it a success.
