Laura takes to the skies for team who saved her dad's life!

Laura Kennedy took part in an epic skydive earlier this year to raise money for the Intensive Care Unit Team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Laura raised an incredible £1,154!

Laura said: "Our dad became acutely unwell on the 26th December 2021 and was cared for by the ITU team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for over four weeks. Dad was in hospital for approximately 9 weeks in total, before being discharged home, and is thankfully recovering well. The ITU team provided life saving treatment, that we will be forever grateful for.  As a very small token of gratitude I wanted to complete a tandum skydive in the hope of raising funds for this amazing department that will go towards 'added extras' for the patients, families and staff within this unit."

Hannah Tipton, Fundraising Assistant at UHB Charity, said: "We are so grateful to Laura and all her supporters for raising this incredible amount of money which will help support other patients like her dad in the future."
