Major cycling event set to hit the second city

A new major cycling event is set to hit Birmingham in September 2017.

The 100 mile closed road bike ride, Velo Birmingham, will take place in the second city on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September next year.

It is only the third event of its kind held in the UK, with the other two taking place in London and Wales.

Riders are invited to join the event to help raise money for QEHB Charity, which supports patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Whilst the Sportive will be officially announced next week at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, you can pre-register by going to velobirmingham.com
