‘Next door’ at Birmingham’s best eatery

One of Birmingham’s best eateries, The Plough Harborne, has extended its offerings in the form of a new, purpose-built extension called ‘Next door at The Plough’.

The new rooms offer visitors a choice of private spaces for meeting, eating or drinking. The new extension also includes two function rooms for hire, called ‘Upstairs at The Plough’.

Michael Tivey, Fundraising Officer at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) Charity met with Adam Johnson, the popular pub’s landlord, and enjoyed a beer from a celebratory 1,000 pint beer tank which was installed for the opening night, on Saturday 5th December.

He said: “It’s great to see one of Birmingham’s best spots for food, drink and socialising has expanded. The Plough has always been a great supporter of the QEHB Charity, raising vital funds for teenagers with cancer at the QE by holding regular pub quizzes throughout the year. We look forward to working with everyone at The Plough again in 2016.”Function room

The new function rooms can be hired for £12 per day which includes tea, coffee and bottled water.
