President’s Drinks event raises festive sum

Members of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce have made generous donations to Solihull Hospital Charity after a successful President’s Drinks event!

The event was held at Hogarth’s and was hosted by the President of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce, Robert Elliot. Members were encouraged to make a donation to Solihull Hospital Charity in the form of a ‘Virtual Gift’, which will help the hospital charity to bring some Christmas magic to Solihull.

Justine Davy, Head of Fundraising at Solihull Hospital Charity, said: “Huge thanks go to all of the members of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce for their generous donations at the President’s Drinks event last week.

“We were delighted to raise over £500 from the event in the form of Virtual Gifts, which will help to make our patients happy this Christmas.”

Solihull Hospital Charity launched its very own Virtual Shop this Christmas, encouraging supporters to buy an item for patients in hospital, with gifts ranging from toys for children with cancer to activities for older patients.
