Joanne Bubb, Senior HCA Dignity in Care Team/Acting Activities Coordinator at the QE, has organised several fundraising events over the past few months in order to raise money for QEHB Charity’s Dignity in Care Fund, which is focused upon the support of elderly patients at the QE.

Joanne held two cake sales, tombola, and raffle across both the Heritage Building and the QE. As well as this, Joanne also organised a ‘name the teddy’ competition.

The combined money raised from all of the events has, thus far, resulted in an amazing total of £532.26.

Joanne said: “I want to thank everyone who came to the cakes sales, tombola, and raffle. All the events have been great fun, and the amount we have raised thus far will make a real difference to elderly patients at the QE.”

Laura Power, Senior Fundraiser at QEHB Charity, said: “Joanne has put in an awful lot of effort into organising these events, and that effort has truly paid off! She has raised a brilliant amount, and on behalf of QEHB Charity I want to thank Joanne for her hard work.”
