Staff at military home away from home win lottery!
The team who look after military patients and their families at Fisher House, our military home away from home, won £1,000 last week after forming a syndicate to play our lottery! Congratulations to the team! This is our first syndicate lottery win and we are chuffed it has been won by a team who do so much to support military families.
A syndicate is when a group all contribute to a lottery so they have greater chance of winning, and then spilt the prize money between them!
In the picture are Julie, Patrick and Phil, who are some of the staff part of the Fisher House syndicate, with their winning cheque!
Julie said: “We can’t believe we’ve won, we are over the moon! It’s great to be able to have a little extra to treat my family to a nice meal out but even better to know being a part of the lottery helps raise funds for incredible charity projects like Fisher House.”
