Superstar staff member takes on skydive for Good Hope Hospital


Vickie Higgins, a staff member at Good Hope Hospital took on the bold challenge of jumping out of an aeroplane at 13,000 feet on Saturday 2 September to raise valuable funds for Good Hope Hospital.

The brave fundraiser said: I have always wanted to do a skydive- so it feels great to finally be able to do it, and to raise money at the same time!"

Vickie has surpassed her fundraising target, raising over £1,000 to go towards the refurbishment of the Children's Ward at the Sutton Coldfield hospital.

Laura Power, Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital said: "a huge well done to Vickie for doing the skydive and for raising a staggering amount, it's a nerve wracking experience, but is a fantastic way to fundraise!"
