Team Doctors, Nurses, or Patients? Join QEHB Charity at the 2016 Birmingham Half Marathon

The Morrisons Great Birmingham Run is returning once again to the second city in 2016.

It will be taking place on Sunday, 16 October 2016. The 13.1 mile-long course will begin and end in Birmingham City Centre, with the course giving runners a tour of the landmarks of the city.

Running as part of the QEHB Charity team gives you access to training hints and tips for the race, a pre and post-race reception at the Hyatt hotel, fundraising materials, and one of our fabulous running tops! With a plethora of funds to choose from within the charity, you can fundraise for children with cancer or transplant patients. Click here to find out about the various appeals at QEHB Charity.

For those who decide to run for QEHB Charity this year, we are offering you the chance to choose to be in one of three teams: Team Doctors (purple), Team Nurses (blue), and Team Patients (green).

You do not have to be a doctor, nurse, or patient to enter the various teams. When you have chosen which team you would like to run for, you will receive a fundraising pack complete with a headband in the colour of your team. We are also inviting all of our QEHB Charity runners to dress up as doctors, nurses, and patients in order to reflect the theme in their attire.

Runners have the option of paying either an entrance fee of £35 with no minimum amount of sponsorship, or can chose to raise £150 in sponsorship and receive free entry.

2016 is set to be our biggest team ever in the Morrisons Great Birmingham Run, so join us for a wonderful race, regardless of whether it's your first or your hundredth long-distance run!
