Thank you for supporting us this Christmas!

In 2019, we asked you to help us with our Christmas campaign so we could fund added extras for those who will be using one of our hospitals over the Christmas period.

Thanks to everyone’s incredibly kind donations, fundraising events and funky festive jumpers, you raised over £26,000 across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital!

This Christmas, you helped us to:

  • Fund free parking at QEHB on Christmas Day
  • Bring over 200 festive hampers to all four hospitals for staff and patients to share over the Christmas period
  • Decorate the hospitals with Christmas trees to help patients, their families and the staff who treat them feel more festive
  • Put on a pantomime performance and Christmas parties for the children who were in hospital over Christmas
  • Provide children at all four hospitals with a Christmas present and selection box thanks to your donations on our Virtual Shop
  • And so much more!

Thanks to our incredible sponsors across the sites, we were able to provide these added extras that go ‘over and above’ what the NHS can fund for our staff, patients and their families.

A huge thank you goes to the Kidney Patient Association, Get Ahead Charitable Trust, Friends of the Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre, Sunrise Living, Jaguar Land Rover Castle Bromwich and Solihull, the Olton Tavern, the Bates Family, The Talent Society, Solihull School, One Stop, Solihull College, Key Trackers, Hillstreet UK, Solihull Moors Foundation, Bentley and Lamborghini Birmingham, Erdington Job Centre, Spitfire MC Bikers, Co-Operative Marsh Lane and TSB Sheldon.

We were also able to provide wards and departments at QEHB with a selection of fruit kindly donated by the fruit stand based outside of the hospital entrance.
