Heartlands Hospital Charity supports the incredible work of the team on Ward 19 by funding added extras for the ward, thanks to generous donors such as Pertemps.

Pertemps Chairman, Tim Watts, said: “Pertemps recognises that it has a corporate responsibility to uphold but it is very much more than that: we are a business with a heart. Our employees astound me time and time again with the lengths they’re prepared to go to in the pursuit of helping others. I can speak for all of us when we say that all charities are worthwhile, but we have been touched by the stories we have heard about this particular two charities.”

Sian Averill, Fundraising Manager at Heartlands Hospital Charity, said: “A huge thank you goes to Pertemps for this incredibly generous donation to Ward 19. We are raising funds to refurbish the ward and this money will go a long way in helping us to do this.

“Everyone who visits the ward will say what an amazing service Ward 19 provides, and how exceptional the staff are in what they do. However, we want people to walk into the ward and be greeted by more warming surroundings, enjoy comfy chairs where they can sit and relax and make the most of refreshment facilities.”
