Our work at the QE

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity works at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, the cirty's biggest hospital, supporting patients, families and staff by providing those ‘added extras’ that cannot be provided by the NHS.

We are able to offer donors and fundraisers a wide choice of fundraising activities and areas to support. Donors and fundraisers can specify a ward or department that they wish to support at the QE, or they can support the hospital as a whole.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham has the largest single-floor critical care department in Europe, and is also home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine. The QE is one of only six solid-organ transplant centres in the country.

Please take a look around our website at the appeals and fundraising events we are currently organising, and if you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us on 0121 371 4852 or charities@uhb.nhs.uk
