University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, formerly branded as QEHB Charity, works at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham’s biggest hospital, supporting patients, families and staff by providing those ‘added extras’ that cannot be provided by the NHS.
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity is able to offer donors and fundraisers a wide choice of fundraising activities and areas to support. Donors and fundraisers can specify a ward or department that they wish to support at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, or they can support the hospital as a whole.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham has the largest single-floor critical care department in Europe, and is also home to the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine. QEHB is one of only six solid-organ transplant centres in the country.
