     Course details:  

Presentation on Basics of Ultrasound Use for Peripheral Nerve Blocks
                                6 x 45 minutes workshops (Hands-on Ultrasound scanning on live models - 3 or 4 candidates per workshop)
                                Scanning areas: Upper limb, lower limb, spine, abdomen, anterior and posterior thorax
                                Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided

    Peripheral nerve blocks covered:

    Upper limb ( above clavicle) : Interscalene/ Supraclavicular/Superficial cervical plexus
    Upper Limb ( below clavicle) : Axillary /Infraclavicular / Costoclavicular (optional)
    Lower limb ( above knee) : Femoral/ Fascia iliaca/ Lateral femoral cutaneous nerve/Adductor canal    

     LL( below knee) : Popliteal Sciatic/ Ankle / IPACK
     Anterior Chest wall and abdomen : PECS 1&2/ Serratus Plane/ Parasternal/ Rectus sheath/ TAP
     Back – Spine US, Erector Spine, Paravertebral
