Prematuri-tea 2019

Premature birth can leave a devastating impact on families as well as babies, we want to highlight awareness of some of the little miracles that have been born across Good Hope Hospital and Heartlands Hospital and how you can help to support babies just like them.

Each year over 11,000 babies are welcomed into the world across Heartlands and Good Hope hospitals. Sadly, 800 of these babies will require the support of the Neonatal Unit. Some babies are born up to four months early, and can weigh less than a bag of sugar.

Help the hospital charity support vulnerable neonatal babies by holding your very own Prematuri-tea event! On 17 November the world will be raising awareness of premature babies and here at Good Hope Hospital Charity and Heartlands Hospital Charity we need your help! By holding your own Prematuri-tea party the hospital charity will be able to provide the neonatal units with added extras that are ‘over and above’ what the NHS can fund.

You can hold your very own Prematuri-tea party at home, work or in the community and sell cups of tea, coffee and lots of delicious cakes all to support the hospital charity!
