Stay at Home Street Party for the NHS

Celebrate our NHS by holding a Stay at Home Street Party this July.

Sunday 5 July is the NHS’s birthday. In previous years we have enjoyed coming together to celebrate our wonderful NHS by holding tea parties with our friends, families and neighbours.

This year, the celebrations will be slightly different. We are asking you to hold a Stay at Home Street Party for the NHS to celebrate its birthday! How you choose to do this is up to you, but remember to stick to the really important guidelines on social distancing at all times.

On or around Sunday 5 July encourage your neighbours to celebrate the NHS with you. Perhaps you could deliver some home-made cakes to your neighbours and ask for a donation, or hold a talent show in your street?

We’ve teamed up with MasterChef: The Professionals winner Stu Deeley to inspire you to get creative in the kitchen and make your very own Tirama-Stu, which is worthy of winning any cooking competition. Get your hands on his recipe here.

Become a MasterChef yourself with Stu Deeley's recipe!

However you choose to celebrate our NHS this year, make sure that you keep safe and remain 2 metres apart from those not in your household.

If you’re looking for ideas on how to get started then download our online fundraising pack here.

Let your neighbours know about your party by downloading our poster. If you're looking to decorate your road with bunting, why not download our very own bunting and show your support for the hospital charity?
