Theatre Scrub Jackets - UHB Staff only
Please note this product is only available to UHB staff. You will need to use your @uhb.nhs.uk email address to complete the sale.
Julie Dawe, Matron Theatre & Recovery has helped to design and create the UK’s very first short sleeved scrub jacket which will help to keep staff warm in the theatre environment.
Operating rooms are kept at a specific temperature for specific reasons. Some staff are invariably too cold and sometimes use disposable jackets which usually have long sleeves and cuffs which go against infection control policies.
These disposable jackets are expensive and wasteful for the hospital and the environment.
These reusable, washable scrub jackets have five straight studs down the front and are short sleeved in order to comply with infection control policies.
They are fully equipped to handle a busy day in the life of a theatre staff member with two lower pockets and one top breast pocket.
They are designed to be worn over scrubs in order to keep staff warm and are a polycotton Teredo 195gsm fabric which is similar to scrub material and crease resistant. The jackets have a premium feel, machine washable and won’t shrink in the wash.
UHB Charity is pleased to be able to subsidise the cost of these Theatre Scrub Jackets which can be purchased by UHB staff for £10.
The jackets come in sizes Small - XX Large and in a standard range or a petite range (petite range has a shorter length sleeve and centre back). Please click here for sizing guidance.
Orders will be delivered directly to UHB Theatres c/o Julie Dawe for distribution.
