Would you like to make a difference and give something back to help patients?

Do you enjoy meeting new people and lending a friendly ear to patients and their families?

Perhaps you are searching for new experiences to boost your CV and employability, or you would like to improve your team building skills?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the hospital charity needs you!

The hospital charity needs reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to get involved in a wide range of different and exciting events.

From manning our weekly atrium stands on the hospital site, to taking part in our bucket collections or lending a hand at our larger events (the Birmingham Half Marathon, gala dinners and family fun days!), there are loads of ways you can be involved.

Long-term volunteer, Roger Raybould, said: “I love volunteering at UHB Charity. No two days are the same and it is fantastic knowing that I am helping to make a difference to people’s lives.

“I’d encourage everyone to volunteer! It’s a great way to meet new people and learn new skills.”

Volunteering is a fantastic way to build your confidence, pick up new, transferable skills, give your career a boost and meet like-minded people.

If you’d like to get involved please register your interest in becoming a hospital charity volunteer by emailing charities@uhb.nhs.uk

The hospital charity welcomes new volunteers across QEHB, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

Thank you!
