An eggs-cellent Easter delivery at Good Hope Hospital

In celebration of Easter, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield received some very special- and delicious- deliveries last week. Easter eggs were delivered to children’s Accident and Emergency, children’s outpatients and children’s assessment units as well as Elderly care.

The generous staff at Bristan Taps and Showers in Tamworth collected over 50 Easter eggs in their workplace in support of the Charity, which they delivered personally to staff and patients throughout the wards.

Thank you also to Spitfire MCC who made their way to Good Hope Hospital and then onto Heartland’s Hospital in Birmingham, taking time out of their Easter Sunday to spread joy throughout the Charity’s sites.

If that wasn’t enough, a lovely colleague, Toni, from William H Painter Funerals, a dedicated support of charities within her local community, delivered eggs and freshly-baked cakes to distribute amongst staff and patients at Good Hope Hospital.

Laura Power, Fundraising manager at Good Hope Hospital said: “We are tremendously grateful to these local businesses for taking time out of their Easter period to bring joy to patients and staff at Good Hope and Heartlands Hospitals. Nobody enjoys being in hospital, but acts of kindness such as these go a long way to brighten people’s days.”
