Asda donations brings to joy to children's radiology
The Children's Radiology Department at Good Hope Hospital received a generous donation of £500 from Asda Minworth last week.
The cheque, presented by Community Life Champion, Denise Alder to ward staff member, Rebecca Pinner, will go towards making the department a more child-friendly environment to ease the stress of coming to hospital by refurbishing the play area, filling it with fun and modern toys, and decorating the walls with bright and colourful murals.
Laura Power, Fundraising Manager at Good Hope Hospital said: "Thank you very much to Asda Minworth for supporting us through your green token system. At the Charity we really value local businesses raising money for the community, the items purchased from your donation will bring many smiles to children and families at Good Hope Hospital."
