Bannersgate Towns Women’s Guild supports Good Hope Hospital

Elaine Coulthard from Friends of Good Hope Hospital, which supports patients at the hospital by funding equipment and added extras, recently received a cheque for £1,000 at the Guild’s meeting, from their Chairman, Josie Orme.

The Guild chooses a new local charity each year to support, by donating the proceeds of their fundraising activities. Josie saw the Friends of Good Hope Hospital at work in the hospital and recommended them to the Guild committee.

Tony Cannon gave the members an outline of the work undertaken by the Friends and thanked them for their support of the hospital.

He said: “This brilliant donation will be put to good use for the benefit of the patients at Good Hope Hospital. We are extremely fortunate to have Good Hope on our doorstep with its dedicated staff who provide the best possible care when we need it.”
