Beautiful blooms for Fisher House

Maid_Marion_1_2 (Pictured: the Maid Marion Roses) A wonderful local florist has donated some beautiful blooms to Fisher House. David Austen Roses, based near Wolverhampton, has donated four Maid Marion English from the English Roses range. The company, which specialises in breeding their own varieties, has only recently introduced the one donated to Fisher House. The beautiful blooms will be planted in the grass triangle next to the front door of Fisher House, and will flower each year. Alison Graves, from David Austin Roses, said: “We are delighted to support Fisher House, the ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families. We hope that residents and visitors alike will appreciate the roses.” Julie Liddle, a member of the QEHB Charity gardening volunteer group, said: “We cannot wait to plant these roses. They will brighten up everyone’s day!” To find out more about Fisher House, click here.
