Becca started at QEHB Charity in February 2014. Previously she worked as a Marketing and PR executive for a fashion company in Birmingham, and prior to that she was completing her degree in Fine Art at Worcester University. She works part time and on her days off from the charity she teaches art workshops, writes exhibition reviews for publications, and creates and sells paintings. Becca most enjoys meeting people from all walks of life: "This job is great because fundraisers come from far and wide with moving stories to tell. I love interviewing them, hearing their stories and sharing what I find with others. It’s also still really satisfying seeing my press releases in the local and national media!" While finding it very tricky to pin down a favourite food (as she loves food), Becca especially enjoys Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough ice cream, or skin on chips with sea salt:"… mmm". Becca has self-confessed that her pet hate of incorrect grammar is a bit geeky, however this is an essential part of being a successful communications officer. As Becca's favourite place is the beach, if she has a long weekend or some time off work she loves heading to the sea! If she's not at the beach she'll probably be in the garden at home or at her parents’ lovely house in Oxfordshire. She also really likes reading, writing and art. Some unknown things about Becca are that her younger brother was born on her birthday, robbing her of the right to be selfish for one day of the year, and that her work lanyard came from a party at Game of Thrones' John Snow’s house (at which, yes, he was present).
