Bottoms up! Raise a glass and some cash for patients at the QE

Join QEHB Charity and the Lord Mayor of Coventry at a bountiful Beer Festival in aid of heart patients at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Organised by Lions Club of Coventry Godiva, the boozy break will raise money for the Coronary Care unit at the QE. Kicking off at midday on Saturday 9th May, the event will take place at Daimler Green Community Centre, 48 Highley Drive, Coventry, CV6 3LR.

Entry costs £1 and includes a free glass and programme, and food will be available throughout the day.

QEHB Charity Chief Executive, Mike Hammond, said: “We are delighted to receive continued support from Lions Club of Coventry Godiva.

“We are really looking forward to the event, which promises to be a lot of light-hearted fun whilst raising money for a very serious cause.

“The money generously donated by the club will support our heart patients by providing research, facilities and equipment that the NHS alone can’t pay for, meaning that patients receive the best level of care and comfort possible.

“I’d like to thank all those involved in organising the event and all those who plan on attending for their kind and valued support.”
