Boxing superstar Anthony Joshua lends support to fundraising night

Anthony Joshua, one of the greatest boxing talents in the world, has sent out his best wishes to everyone from the London White Collar Boxing Academy (LWCBA) who are putting on an event on 27 April to raise money for the Claire Khan Trust, a part of QEHB Charity.

The boxing superstar recorded a video clip, wishing everyone the very best for the event, which will be raising money to support research into adrenal tumours right here at QEHB. Grant Carroll, from LWCBA said: "We decided to put on an event to support the Claire Khan Trust, following the sad death of Louise McVaddy and her unborn son Michael, the result of an undiagnosed adrenal tumour, back in 2010.

"Louise's husband Regan has been a tireless fundraiser since her death and as Regan is close to us here at LWCBA we wanted to put on an event to support the fantastic work of the Claire Khan Trust. It's amazing to have the support of Anthony who really is a global superstar!"

Sophie Carroll, Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity said: "Everyone at the Charity wishes LWCBA the very best for their fundraising event, we're all sure that it will be a great success. Huge thanks go to Anthony for his support of this event, it's wonderful to have such a high profile name supporting this event."
