Busy Bees festivities!
Come along to Busy Bees Christmas Open Day and enjoy a whole host of festive activities!
On Friday 12th December the charitable nursery will host a Christmas Open Day to raise money for Fisher House, a ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families.
Why not pay Santa a visit in his grotto, browse the Christmas craft stalls or snack on the tasty festive treats and help raise money that will pay for a night of free accommodation for the family of a sick or wounded military patient? The Open Day and Market will take place from 6-8pm at Busy Bees Nursery, 160 Metchley Park Road, Birmingham, B15 2TX.
Debbie Mason, Manager at Busy Bees QEHB, said: “We are proud to be supporting Fisher House and helping to make a difference for the troops and their families at a difficult time.”
No stranger to fundraising, the nursery raised over £900 for Fisher House in March by organising a football tournament, as well as baking a Fisher House first birthday cake for the first anniversary of Fisher House officially opening.
Sian Averill, Fundraising Assistant at QEHB Charity which runs Fisher House, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the Busy Bees team for their continued support of Fisher House.
“Fisher House is run entirely on charitable donations. Although families stay at the house for free, it costs £25 per night to accommodate them. It is thanks to organisations like Busy Bees that we are able to provide support to families when they need it most.
