Celebrating International Nurses Day 2018

The hospital charity has been celebrating the hard work and dedication of all of the incredible nurses that have dedicated their lives to caring for others this International Nurses Day. The Charity has delivered special chocolate hampers to nursing staff across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

The chocolate hampers, purchased by the hospital charity, were delivered to nurses all across the four sites to mark a special day in the calendar. Cathryn Worth, Fundraising Manager at QEHB Charity said: "It is a true pleasure to take the chocolate hampers around to nurses across the hospital every year on International Nurses Day. They are always so grateful for the gift.

"The Charity is proud to support the work of the nurses that work across the four hospitals, and on behalf of everyone at the Charity I would like to thank them all for their hard work and dedication to treating patients."

Nurses at Solihull Hospital were presented with their chocolates by volunteers from HSBC.

The team from Ward 28 at Heartlands Hospital really got into the spirit of International Nurses Day!
