Charity Team takes on Gung HO!

On Saturday 6 May staff from QEHB Charity took on the challenge ‘Gung Ho’ at Cofton Park. The event consisted of a 5K, inflatable obstacles, ending with a 200ft long water slide that is five stories high, making it the largest inflatable slide in Europe!

The Charity team included Administration Officer Gwen Eccleston, Fundraising Officer Sophie Carroll, Fundraising Manager Laura Power and Grants Officer Tina Hales all lead by Head of Fundraising Justine Davy. It was a fantastic day out and even with the weather not on side the team still had a great day!

Sophie Carroll, Fundraising officer said: "It was so much fun to take part as a team, now when we talk to fundraisers we can all say that we have been there and done it, it was so much fun even if we did end up soaking wet by the very end!" the charity team look forward to the next event, although we may choose one that doesn’t involve a 200ft water slide next time!
