Cheshire choir supports Fisher House

A choir from Cheshire has once again supported QEHB Charity.

Warrington Male Voice Choir has supported QEHB Charity for a number of years through holding concerts in their home town. On Saturday 12 December, they travelled to Birmingham to perform in the atrium of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday 12th December.

Performing a mixture of classic and contemporary Christmas tunes, the choir wowed patients and staff and raised a fantastic £200 for Fisher House, which they have been fundraising for since the initial campaign to build the facility in 2012.

As well as performing, the choir was given a tour of Fisher House, so that they could see for themselves the incredible facility that their fundraising has contributed towards.

George Hill, Vice Chairman of the Warrington Male Voice Choir, said: “We have now supported Fisher House for so long that we felt it was time to see it for ourselves! It is an amazing facility, and we are so proud to support it.”

Michael Tivey, Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the tireless support of Warrington Male Voice Choir for Fisher House. Their performance on Saturday was amazing, and behalf of the charity I want to thank the choir and wish them a wonderful Christmas and New Year.”
