Comedy Night returns!

Join QEHB Charity for a night full of laughter and help raise money for Fisher House.

On the Thursday, 1st October at Jongleurs Club on Broad Street, QEHB Charity will host a night of entertainment and laughter, with some stand-out performances from a range of stand-up comedians. Headlining the event will be Aaron Twitchen, who has recently performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his production of ‘Deadlines and Diets’, with other entertainers such as Josh Pugh, who recently won Best New Act award at the Midlands Comedy Awards 2015.

We will also offer a warm welcome back to a familiar face, as Hannah Silvester returns to perform for us following her excellent show at our first Comedy Night. Hannah recently won Breakthrough Act Award at the Midlands Comedy Awards 2015.

This year, there will be a new addition, as we offer you the chance to bid for a hospitality box at Birmingham City Football Club! This, along with a raffle, means that there will be plenty to do on this fun-filled evening.

Tickets for the comedy night cost £10 which includes entry, a meal and a night full of comedy entertainment. There is also a 20% discount available for NHS staff and students. All monies raised by the event will be donated to Fisher House, a ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families during what can be a very stressful time.

Fundraising Officer at QEHB Charity, Sian Averill, said: ‘The QEHB Charity’s annual Comedy Night is going from strength to strength, with new faces and old joining Jongleurs Comedy Club to help raise money for Fisher House.

“The house is incredibly important to military patients and their families, as it is a sanctuary for them to live in a calming environment for the duration of treatment in the hospital.

“We hope loads of people get involved in what promises to be a fantastic night full of laughter and fun!”

Doors open at 7pm.
