Community Fun Day

Summer may feel like aeons away, but QEHB Charity is already in the barbequing mood! QEHB Charity is proud to announce that it will be holding its third annual Community Fun Day this summer, in celebration of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. The day will be returning to the fantastic hosts at Warwickshire County Cricket Club in Edgbaston on Sunday, May 29.

It is set to be a huge event, comprising of a funfair, food and craft stalls, and a T20 cricket match between the tri-service military cricket team and the Warwickshire Legends. All proceeds raised from the day will go to Fisher House, the ‘home away from home’ for military patients and their families. Bring along the entire family for a day of great fun and great treats!

Based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Fisher House provides free accommodation to the families of military patients who are being cared for at the hospital, with one of the rooms named as the Edgbaston Room, in recognition of the Club’s support for the charity.

This event is free for adults and children. To register, please click here. For more information, please contact Justine.Davy@uhb.nhs.uk or call 0121 371 4852.
