Dominoes club raises money for Children's ward

Ian Lomas from Meadway Sports and Social Dominoes Club recently visited the Children’s Ward at Heartlands Hospital to hand over a cheque for £460.

The money was raised by Ian and his team through dominoes tournaments that they hold regularly and this donation brings their total to over £1,000 raised. Previous donations have gone towards buying fans for the ward, towards a sensory trolley and this donation is to go towards the Children’s garden at the hospital.

Sian Averill, Fundraising Manager for Heartlands Hospital Charity said: “Heartlands Hospital Charity is extremely grateful for the support of Ian and his team.  Their dominoes tournaments have raised a lot of money which has helped purchase really useful equipment for the ward."
