Festive wrapping brings in money to support patients

Volunteers and staff from Solihull Hospital Charity have brought in £75 to support patients at the hospital thanks to a festive gift-wrapping day at Mell Square Shopping Centre in Solihull.

Setting up in a pop-up store in Mell Square, the team from the Charity were busy wrapping presents in exchange for donations from Solihull's Christmas shoppers. The day was a great success and helped to contribute to the festive cheer that can be found in abundance around Solihull.

Fundraising Manager at Solihull Hospital Charity, Sam Howell said: "Huge thanks go to RBH and to Mell Square for their help in this great initiative. It was great to be able to spend time with the good people of Solihull and help them prepare for the big day by wrapping their presents.

"Thanks to their generosity, the shoppers of Solihull have helped to support patients at their local hospital. It was great fun and I look forward to returning next year to wrap even more presents!"
