First QE Networking event a success
On Thursday 23 June, QEHB Charity held its first ever QE Networking event at Geisha, the Cube, in support of the QE Fighting Skin Cancer appeal. Guests included representatives from across a range of local businesses, including Weightmans, The Hyatt, Superdream and Blue Commericial. Attendees paid £5 entry and received complimentary prosecco and canapes, with all proceeds and donations going to help patients with skin cancer at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Specialist nurse Claire McGarr was on hand to deliver a talk on skin cancer and the dangers of sun exposure.
