Fundraising Friday- Final Velo special!
This week’s Velo Special Fundraising Friday is the last in the Velo series as the 100 mile closed road cycle ride is only nine days away!
Ben Allen, Radiographer at QEHB, is taking on the challenge to raise funds to support breast cancer patients by bringing two new pieces of imaging equipment to the hospital’s Radiotherapy Department, which will cost a total of £400,000.
The radiographer is no stranger to fundraising! Ben, alongside his brother, Matt, and Matt’s partner, (pictured above) Megan took part in the Sutton Fun Run in June to raise even more funds for his department.
Well done to Ben, and to everyone else taking part in Velo Birmingham, it is set to be a fantastic event.
