Fundraising Friday- Velo special!

For this week’s Fundraising Friday- Velo Special we are wishing couple, Louisa and Peter Taylor a big good luck for their last six weeks of training!

Peter, once a keen cyclist is taking on his first 100 mile ride in 25 years! Whilst for Louisa this is her first ride of this magnitude. However, despite her lack of experience Louisa is already the fastest woman in her age category on a fitness app used by many amateur and professional cyclists nationwide. She has been doing so well that she has been nicknamed ‘Cav’ after her hero Mark Cavendish MBE, the British professional road racing cyclist.

Louisa and Peter have already raised just under £1,800 for QEHB Charity and Fisher House and are working hard to reach their target of £2,500 to support military patients at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Fisher House is a 'home from home' for military patients where their loved ones can stay in a comfortable environment just a few a minutes away from QEHB hospital. To support Louisa and Peter visit their JustGiving page here.
